Ken Feigner, Ambulatory/Sportmedicine Services

Dr. Ken Feigner began his career as an equine practitioner immediately following graduation from Washington State University in 1991. He began working with the highly regarded Northwest Equine Veterinary Associates in western Washingon. He practiced as an ambulatory veterinarian for four years before establishing and building Sound Equine Veterinary Hospital in Poulsbo, Washington. Owning and operating this multi doctor, combination hospital and ambulatory equine practice gave him a unique perspective on the mutually beneficial ways in which ambulatory and hospital veterinarians can work together to provide the very best care for their patients. It also allowed him to develop experience in a wide variety of procedures on a wide variety of performance and pleasure horses.

He developed extensive experience in lameness, performance dentistry and internal medicine with a special emphasis on client education and clear communication. After over ten years in this position, Dr. Feigner sold his practice in Washington state to allow him the opportunity to move to Wellington, Florida to work with many of the top equestrian hunter, jumper, and dressage horses in the nation, keeping a close relationship with the doctors and surgeons at Palm Beach Equine Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Feigner is now bringing his expertise as an ambulatory equine veterinarian to SLREH and is looking forward to bringing the state of the art medicine practiced here into the field in the north county area. Dr. Feigner will be offering services in the field including sports medicine, lameness, emergency medicine, dentistry, internal medicine, reproduction and neonatal medicine.
