“As we work to qualify for the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto for Dressage, I like to use acupuncture roughly every two weeks on the boys I ride (Landor and Fine & Smart) and train (Treffer and Di Scansano, rider Wendy Christoff). They’re being ridden about 5-6 times a week and I can tell an immediate difference after our acupuncture session. Under saddle they move better, they’re looser to ride, and they take less time to warm up. It’s a part of my routine to physically feel their muscles before and after rides, and I love that I can literally feel relief in their muscles after acupuncture. I use Dr. Korin Potenza of San Luis Rey Equine Hospital because of her thoroughness and the attention she gives to each horses’ comfort and health.”
