Petros Boufis, DVM
Petros joins us from Piraeus, Greece. Growing up, he was interested in rowing and acquiring pets of all sorts. At the young age of five, Petros knew he wanted to be a veterinarian due to his love for all kinds of animals. He graduated from University of Thessaly in September 2020 and one month later started his internship at the Equine Veterinary Clinic of the Racetrack of Athens (Markopoulo Park). Working at the track, Petros developed an interest in sports medicine and racing. He also loves neonatology and caring for the foals. Outside of work, Petros fills his time with rowing and catching up with his family and friends.
Diana Beltran, DVM
Hafiz Muhammad Taimoor Ihsan, DVM
Hafiz Muhammad Taimoor Ihsan joins us from Pakistan. He graduated in July 2022 with his degree in Veterinary Science. Hafiz has had a strong interest in horses since childhood and used to ride the only horse in his village, which sparked his passion for equine care. Just after completing his schooling, he had the fantastic opportunity to work with the renowned polo group, Polo D Sufi (Master Paints). The experience allowed him to gain valuable insights into the care of polo horses, and developed a strong interest in equine medicine specially sports medicine. In addition to his professional endeavors, Hafiz have also volunteered to eradicate child labor and promote education in his free time. Exploring new cultures and traveling is one of his favorite pastimes, and he enjoys spending time with my family whenever possible.
Nicholas Muir, DVM
Nick grew up in Lynnwood, Washington. His mother was a local reining trainer, which gave him the opportunity to be immersed in the western performance horse industry from an early age. He earned his bachelor's degree in animal science at Washington State University. He continued at Washington State for veterinary school where he had a heavy emphasis on equine practice and served as the president of the WSU Student Chapter of the American Association of Equine Practitioners.
