The externs work closely with our interns with patient care and assisting the clinical staff. Externs will also be involved with the clinical rounds and weekly topic or radiology rounds. Additional responsibilities may be given to you based on your skill level.
Rotations are routinely scheduled for at least two weeks, but generally no more than four weeks.
A room, shower and cooking facilities are provided for the extern. Liability insurance is provided by the practice. Externs are responsible for their own medical insurance.

Application requirements:
- Attendance and student in good standing at any veterinary college
- Resumé or CV
- Two references that are familiar with prospective externs clinical skills
