tylerTyler Elliott, DVM

Tyler grew up in Bridgeport California/Smith Valley Nevada on two working cattle/guest ranches and then graduated from the University of Nevada Reno with a bachelors in Animal Science. He obtained his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. His areas of interest are large animal surgery and lameness with special interest in equine soft tissue surgery. Tyler’s hobbies include hiking/backpacking, fishing, working out, and mixed martial arts.

 

 

juliaJulia Kiemle

Julia was born and raised in Southern Germany and she obtained her degree in veterinary medicine from Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich, Germany. While she completed several rotations and externships, she worked the closest at Schwarzwald Tierklinik Equine Hospital in Black Forest, Germany where she spent several years assisting on weekends and night shifts. In her spare time Julia enjoys swimming, horseback riding (dressage), spending time with friends, exploring nature, and meeting new people.

 

 

andresAndrés Felipe Giraldo

Andrés graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine from Universidad Nacional de Colombia in 2013. During school, he did a six month externship at the Equine Hospital of Liege University. After graduating, he worked in a private equine hospital in Colombia, then moved to Dubai, UAE where he performed a six month ambulatory internship, and in 2015 he moved to Canada where he completed a one year surgery internship. After completing his internship at SLREH, his goal is to complete an equine surgery residency.

Stephanie graduated with a degree in veterinary medicine from Ghent University in Belgium. After graduating, she stayed to complete a one year equine surgery and medical imaging internship at Ghent University. Once she completed this internship, she worked for a price equine hospital in Belgium before she arrived at SLREH for her internship with us. Her main interests in veterinary medicine are orthopedics and surgery. Her hobbies include swimming, surfing, and riding when she is able (showjumping and dressage).
